The Anorak or Parka, originally made in the Arctic region, was needed for protection from the wind chill
and wetness while hunting and kayaking. Developed for Military use in the 1950's the Parka then became a
staple, in both Army and civilian life, as it served for practical warmth in very cold and windy weather.
Now a mainstream item, the ¾ length coat is suitable for nearly any occasion. The Gormley is created
with solid construction and has taken traditional elements in building this modern and updated version.
